    I always shot a 20" AR don't really like the short barrels, no one made one in that length so I had a guy over at AR15.com , Ron Williams special make me one to my specs ,stainless 20" 12 twist with carbine gas system . nice guy and does good work...

    I loaded up 18 Rds last night with 3.0 gr Bullseye and seated it flush with the case mouth and a wee bit of crimp . Plan on shooting them this weekend and see how it goes . Thanks all , Tim

    If I remember correctly I used a couple different powders / loads with the 185-200 gr bullets . reloader 7 , 4198, and even 4895. The load was basicly a near caseful 16-17 gr range and a compressed caseful of the 4895 . I never chrono'ed those loads...

    Have to admit that's a good one too for serious fun shooting my plain base load for my 32 special is 6 gr Bullseye I have a ladder type rear sight on my rifle so making those sight corrections is easy

    8-10 gr of unique , 12-15 gr. of 2400 both with a good fitting 170 ish gr bullet should put you in the vel range your after .
