My edition of COW does list a 6mm JDJ and has two loads for a 70 gr bullet and one for an 80 gr all hollow points . If you want the data I can post it or PM me for it . Notes state for use only in a SSK barrel .

Imo that's not bad accuracy for that gun and cast bullets at 100 yds . Before I got all twisted up saying why won't it do better I would shoot a few groups with heavy jacketed bullets at the same range as a bench mark .

When it's needed , I've got most of my 35 Rem brass in the last century a good bit of it in the 70's and 80's and am now finally annealing the necks as I was seeing a crack now and then, I size using a Lee collet neck die and can tell when there's...

Well you already have the 30-06 so there's no real reason to turn it into a 30/30 other than just because . Yep I'm a 35 Rem guy especially in a bolt action but again if the action can handle a longer round i.e. 358 or 35 Whelen , 9x57 they would...

Yep both work well . I've always found better accuracy by lowering the red dot load a grain or two and upping the Unique load a few grains . IE 10-11 gr red dot and 12-15 grs of Unique with normal weight bullets . In 3030 size cases and larger

The 243 will not die out just too many in circulation . Yeah the the new 6.5 is popular now due to the writings and glowing reports of the gun rags but in honesty for 90 percent of use normal shooters and hunters the 260 Rem is every bit as good or...

There would be lots of them but first ones would be my Ruger P90, early colt LW agent and the most missed a 70's colt LW commander
