    We had ours (turkey and the works)yesterday with my fiances family . Will be smoking and slathering a nice ham with multiple coats of honey and brown sugar on Thursday . I was thankful on Sunday and will be again on Thursday .

    Victorinox is all we use at the butcher shop processing during rifle season . Few swipes on a stone to sharpen and few every so often during a shift on the steel keeps them going . I prefer a 6" semi stiff boning knife for most things like breaking...

    Last place I bought them was a place online called Neolithics , decent price and they seem to spark and last as long as anything else I've used they have a variety of different flint/chert available

    Our walmart has them for 4bucks a tin for the cci brand . I've never bought a cap since I'm a flint guy but can I assume the tins are 100 count ?

    Although velocity isn't the end all be all but if your starting out at 1800fps at muzzle at 3-400 yds that flat nosed bullet ain't gonna be very zippy . What will happen at that range if large bone is hit ? Not my call but if it were me I'd limit...

    How big of a velocity window do that have for expansion ? Anyone know? I've never used any of them but have always wondered . Seems it would eliminate standard J word bullet blow up at close range/high speed and still expand and kill well at longer...

    Another option in a lighter weight is the inexpensive Lee 312-155 in the TL or regular lube flavor that's IF it drops big enough for your barrel one of mine is .314 the other is .312 . Yes they are lighter and shorter than the usual 200 gr bullets...
