Seen one at the local shop last week . Haven't owned a Taurus semi auto since about 1990 when I had a copy of the berreta 92 . The G3 felt good in the hand for a 15 shot mid size pistol and the price was pretty low . Is Brazil making a decent...

in my dad's early 45 cal TC hawken RB and maxi ball both shoot very well . But neither me or dad will shoot a deer with that light RB past 50 yds the maxi on the other hand kills very well out to 100 yds or a little further . In a 50 cal I'd use...

Yep that's where most matches are won or lost . If the recoil is troublesome for him give cast bullets a try. It's only 200 yds so the a nice accurate mid power load is all you need . Heck I shot a few matches with the Lee 155 and 6 grs of Bullseye...

I've often mulled this over in just a what if manner seems like the 9mm win mag would be fairly easy and still get respectable ballistics but it's still less than a 357 in the same length barrel .

If the bore is in good condition and the wood has no splits/cracks ect a fair price for me would be in the 3-400 buck range . They used to be common and fairly cheap but times have changed .
