    I would think they would be too small in dia . Figure the round ball dia is normally .31-.315 and used with a patch that is .010 or thicker . The bore dia is I think .320 then add the groove depth .006 let's say.

    I think I've used more Bullseye in rifle loads than I have in pistol , 30-30 , 308,30-06, 32 spl, 35 Rem . All with regular weight cast bullets mostly without the check all in the 5-6 gr range and all shoot rather well .

    Maybe look into the cast bullet mould made for K31 aka 7.5 Swiss I know it drops a wee bit smaller than the average 308 bullets due to the Swiss having that short and tight throat

    Would these same recommendations apply to black powder also? Should it be stored separate from smokeless ? I have always just stored my powder cans (guess their all bottles now ) in shelves I made in Between the 2x10 in the basement ceiling .
