I agree! Half the equipment we had was Navy gear we fixed and repainted. That taught you to take care of it too.

Every 8 pounder I ever bought either on the jug or on the web site said to use 335 data, it was always spot on and there were years between lots. I loaded a significant amoumt of 5.56 with it and .308, excellant powder and wish it and WC846 were...

I still have a bunch of the steel cans, my main powder storage is a very large Navy ammo can I believe for 30MM. At any rate, I can fit 7 or 8 pounds side to side with just enough slack to easily pull them out, if all new powder was in Dupont/IMR...

Numerichs nomenclature is wrong, this is MARKED ON THE ACTION Model 50 and it is is a 20 gauge. Youtube videos on the Savage 520 does show the lifter spring you mention, on pin -removable from one side. This one has no pin, or provision for it. I...

The best way to get the impossible done is tell a Marine it can' t be done! Many aviation firsts were done by Marines, ( first barrel roll in a helicopter, land a transport on a flattop, etc.)

Still use my 3, in fact except for 50BMG it's the only priming tool I use. Bought spare thumb "Spoons" several years ago because I started breaking the originals, haven't had problems since I replace the originals that bent or broke.

This would be a good test for Larry to do for the forum though. Lets say take his favorite 06 equipped with a strain gauge, drive a 150 grain Hornady spire point 12 inches into the barrel and load a case with 49 grains of 4895 topped off with a wad...
