I carried 3 different Mod.10's, a Mod.64 (SS version of 10) and a mod 60, both in uniform and concealed in plain clothes and off duty for 20 years. all cylinders loaded all the time. Never had any problems.

I know it's not good to leave a mag loaded all the live long day for decades but what's the longest you ever left a 10-22 10 round factory mag loaded and still have it feed great.

Sasquatch-1 replied to a thread Drilling a core mold? in Swaging
I did this with a single cavity mold I didn't use anymore. The slug drops fine, which was your main question I think. This was done with an old bit. I don't know how hard it will be to center the whole in a blank mold. I just squeezed the...

Don't know if these will work for you, but I picked them up at the local craft store. They are the little beads that you lay out a design and then use an iron to melt together. They really don't do anything for the bullet performance but I told...

Sasquatch-1 replied to a thread Swaging press in Swaging
I started out using an RCBS RC4 and a single die step bullet swage die. Broke a link within 2 months. I found an used S press from Dave Corbin and a set of dies and haven't looked back. You can swage on a loading press but a swaging press has...

If you ask the person at the register nicely they will usually give you the discount without the 20% coupon Tell them you left it at home on the table when you walked out the door

Before you give up on the bottom pour try adding a half pound of tin to about 10 pounds of alloy. From what I understand, and this may be wrong, tin reduces the surface tension and therefore allows the mold to fill out better. Sources of tin are...

Sasquatch-1 replied to a thread WTB: Lube Sizer in Want To Buy !
You may want to check ebay. There are two used 450's that have not cracked the $50.00 mark yet. Sure they will go for more but you might get luck and get one for under $100.00.

I would give a +1 on the Smith J frames. I carried a 2" Mod. 60 in .38 spl. for MANY years. I am 6'2" and have moderately large hands and was only able to get 2 fingers on the grip comfortably. That being said I left the original round butt wood...

Remember that copper had to make a trip by truck, train or both to a harbor port. Then by boat to China. Refined in China and sent back in either finished form or as bulk ingots by ship again. Trained and trucked again to the finish mill if in...

Instead of having a breech conversion...not sure if this would work have you know but take a 45-70 casing and cut the casing so you have 1/4 or 1/2 for priming purposes. Would that work? Never size and they would fit that area real snug and prob no...

If you are looking for temporary solutions, A friend uses sight black to reduce glare on his sights. Might be a tad expensive spraying the whole barrel, but would be easily removed. Also, I don't know exactly what is used, but film crews have a...
