Both barrels in my 2 Kimbers slugged at .451 so I size to .452. I use range pick-up brass of so many different brands that I plunked until I found a happy medium of taper crimp. I couldn't tell you what size it turned out to be. Many recommend a OAL...

I didn't anneal. I had only read that very light lubrication is necessary which I tried to do, but got a lot of really fine wrinkles anyway. I guess I need to try again but with annealing. Wayne... How bad is the weather there? My son and his...

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the .32-40 too. Starline sent me free samples of 38-55 to try reforming and it didn't turn out well.

He paid the price that was on the box. If the register (computer) rang up the same price, well that's the correct price! That last box could have been the price of the last shipment. Prices do go up.

Wood expands and contracts with the seasons (and humidity). I wouldn't take a chance. Personally, I would take the wall down to the studs and use cement board. I don't think you'll be sorry to take a little extra time and very little extra cost to...

I tried a Power Custom main spring in a S & W 586 a while back and got a lot of light strikes that were probably using CCI primers. Once I bought an assortment of Wolff rebound springs that started at 11 lb and went heavier, but I can't remember how...

GAR... Oh wow! I bought a LOT of Saeco molds from them. Their price on NRA 50/50 was the best around and many bars of tin I bought for $6.90 per pound. Redding die sets too. Google search dosen't find them. A mother/son operation IIRC.

A few years ago I contacted a fella about the SS "chips" that he sold online to see if they would work in my vibrating tumbler. He told me the chips are too heavy.

I shot thousands of Saeco #069's for years from a 2 cavity and did great for me. I switched to a Saeco 68 4 cavity for more production but didn't care for the bevel base. I've since went to an Accurate 453200H version of the #68 in 5 cavity, which...

I tried the Lee 379-250-RF and it didn't do well at all. They didn't tumble, but didn't shoot much a group. That dosen't say they won't do well in your TC barrel. I still have the mold and still have some stored in a can. They're unsized and measure...

Those all look like good designs. I especially like the looks of the 38-200AG. I had sold my barrel to my shooting buddy who was the one who actually designed the boolit I use. Later he sold it back to me. He's also a very good friend of J. D....

I took the number 376-275B off the mold itself. In the catalog the 38-275B is the actual design. Since the number "375" isn't in the catalog, what design are you looking at?

What a coincidence. Just last week I re-started testing loads for my .375. I have a SSK made 14" 375 JDJ barrel. A friend of mine has a .375 from the now defunct TC Custom Shop. We went together and bought a 2 cavity Accurate 376275B which is a gas...

The hole saw is turning on the drill press. I run it at one of the slower speeds. I fold the material over a couple of times to get 3 layers to cut at a time. I made my cutters pretty darn sharp, keep your fingers out of the way! No, I didn't have...

I took a couple of hole saws of the needed diameter and chucked them in my drill press. I laid a file on the table and spun the hole saws until the teeth were gone then started to turn them against the file to make a sharp edge on them. They're...
