LenH replied to a thread 1st Reloading Question in Cast Boolits

LenH replied to a thread 1st Reloading Question in Cast Boolits
Lead-2, Welcome to the forum and my condolences for your father. I have been loading .45 colt for 40+ years. I have never used a factory crimp die on anything but rifle rounds for cast bullets. And that is only used as a light crimp on said round....

I saw a young woman this past Saturday use kinetic sand to make a surface cast with pewter. My wife and I were at the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis. This young woman was practicing for a class later this month. I watched for a pretty...
