It is amazing how fast it all disappeared. I've looked online and on the shelves of my local businesses and empty is mostly what I find. Glad I learned to save when I could. Component availability runs in cycles just like elections. They are the...

Yes. I agree with you, so much has been farmed out to China and you have to dig to find out where it is really made. You are talking about top of the line SS and into the mainstream of the blade smith world when talking s30v or s35vn for kitchen...

I picked up a case of their MATCH (standard velocity) and it shoots well above its price point. Not Eley but darn good ammo for 1/3 the price.

Tho I am sure you are right, I am loathe to give any business to China if I can at all help it. I hate to enable them to hurt us. Sorry for the soap box, but buy American or American friendly when you can.

WOW! I think some of us squirrels that prepared for winter should sell our extra primers to the needy with deep pockets. I would happy to be rewarded for my thinking ahead. The Clinton primer years taught some of us older guys.

I will say up front, I am not a Chemist of any sort. I looked at the MSDS sheets many years ago and did again just now. Ballistol is made up of >60% white mineral oil. The balance of the product is a "Proprietary Petroleum Distillate" and a...

Sure. I think you are on the right track. I use standard Large pistol primers as a mater of course and Like Remington 2-1/2, as well as Federal standard Large pistol match. I don't know what all you have in your inventory, but give them a try....

F.A.R.T and S/S pins (5lbs.), filled with warm water, 1/4 teaspoon of lemi shine and a good squirt of dawn. All load runtime depends on how dirty. I never let cases sit in solution when tumbling is done. BAD FOR BRASS. I find this new...

I'll have to agree with you. I spend much less time loading and shooting the regular run-of-the mill calibers, I find more and more of my time spent learning and experimenting with old obsolete calibers. Fire forming, load development, along with...

Over the years I've occasionally gotten boxes of club shot AA hulls that we're just filthy. I decided the best way to deal with it was to punch out the primer toss about 100 hulls at a time in a nylon mesh bag an into a frontloader washing machine....

For the WAA12R WADS Claybusters is supposed to have a clone. I don't know how close it is to the original though. I still have a couple of bags of the original Winchester reds bought when I loaded for ducks back in the late 70's and 80's before...
