    I would suggest a .222 instead. Not only do most of them have a 1:14" twist; the .222 also has a longer neck which is good for cast. The Savage models 322, 325, and 340 (perhaps others) were made in .222 and can be found in your price range. ...

    Last time I slaughtered a hog I used a 195 grain 358430 from a .38 Special snubby. Down through the skull, out the lower jaw and several inches into the ground. Hog dropped, DRT.

    .45 AR won't work in it either. The rim is too thick. Even if it would work, they would have the same problem as ACP: a long bullet jump to the leade. Remember, this is a .45 Colt chamber with a recess milled for the moon clip. Not a .45 ACP...
