I cast em, lube em, and tumble them lightly in BLL to seal the lube. It doesn't remain sticky or dry out then.

I have several of both, but prefer the old model Vaquero. It just feels better in the hand and will shoot most anything I want to shoot. I like to bang steel and I like to also shoot cards, but nothing over 25 yards, so the Vaquero gets the nod. My...

Yes they are. I believe those are the same folks that makes the barrels for the Lyman Great Plains Rifle. I have one in .54 and it is a fine rifle.

...........I made a lube ribbon extruder. Screws into the 7/8-14 threads on the reloading press. Piston pushrod fits into the shell holder slot of the ram. I used to pour the liquid lube into the cylinder. That took too long to cool if you wanted to...

I got one of those molds. Couldn't get any good castings from it. Tried getting it hot but the handles got too hot to hold on to. What's the secret to getting it to cast?

I did some for my rifle. No use to, as mentioned, since they ride in a patch, but it was fun to try.

Hi Rusty, You might try using an 8-point or 12-point socket driven onto the nipple. It cuts splines into the nipple and you just unscrew it. Of course you should pour some penetrating oil down the barrel or submerge the end of the barrel in the...

Don't waste your money on the doit mould. There was someone selling those things under his own name a while ago and I bought one. Poorest excuse for a mould I ever saw. My dad had a fishing sinker mould almost exactly like it. Nothing to even...

Had great luck with the stuff. Likes heavier projectiles but shot good in my little .32's also. No rust here in dry Idaho climate using it. Not comparable to Pyrodex in that Pyrodex rusts things up quickly. Smoke is bad as posted earlier. Going...

You don't sign up for one of these and start putting powder in cases in anticipation of the boolit being poured soon. It can take a while. Some have taken 2 years. You don't start out in a Group Buy if you are in desperate need of making a boolit....

That's what I like about the plastic as opposed to glass. You can squeeze them down and load your .32 if you have to (being charged by a killer squirrel for instance).
