Cat, The barrel is a 5 groove so it will take some math to measure bore diameter. But neither of these rifles will likely see cast bullets. I use the 165 gr Gameking for hunting and if that bullet does not yield the accuracy I want, I will find...

Bazoo, FWIW, as a former FFL and a retired rural carrier, it doesn't matter what state you're in. USPS regs do not allow a carrier to carry under any circumstances, even if a CCL or a lawman, which I was part time. Most carriers use their own...

Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore has the Thompson Compass in .308 for $275 with free shipping. Ordered for me and one for my son. After the $75 rebate, and FFL transfer, the cost to my door will be $212.50 each. From the reviews, they...

Sounds like a great time! Are you required to use a shotgun or is that your weapon of choice? Never hunted pigs but it looks like an AR in .300 BO woukd be a good choice from your story.

To put it simply: "He has shown thee, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of thee, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God." Or to put it another way: "Be still, and know that I am God."

The only metallic progressives presses I would own are Star and Dillon....but this new Lee product looks very promising. I am thinking of buying one and using it as a dedicated .223 machine for jacketed bullets.

Thank you gentlemen for sharing your perspectives. It is said that God does not test us. I trust that is true. He loves us as a father, guides us, and helps us. I do not believe He would want us to die, or aid in the murder of another, to...

Sights are a very personal thing. With my eyes, on a gun like that, a large diameter peep sight is what I would try if I had to go with iron sights. If it were mine, it would wear a low power scope Good job getting tge gun back into service!

I tried that. I have owned 5 of their presses and never asked for help before buying the used one. Counted on the no BS warranty. I was shocked but I can fix it myself. I will soon be getting another 1050 so I am still a customer. The 1050...
