You will need some "Spit Ball" or Spit Patch or just plain Crisco to cover the balls to prevent any chance of a chain fire. It's been many years since I have fired my BP firearms, so I'm not so up to date on what is out there now.

I have been looking for an original Bob Tingle blackpowder rifle for quite some time.Seen one listed ( Made in 1962)but it says "The hammer does not stay cocked, but travels through itís full range of motion." Could be the tumbler, sear, sear...

Tom W. replied to a thread CZ Barrel Leading in Cast Boolits
When I had Glocks and Rugers they would shoot anything I put on them with no leading. I got a CZ 75 SP 01 and the same Lee boolits would leave a ring of lead effectively locking up my pistol. I bought the Lee 358-125 rf mold, sized the boolits to...

When WLL came out with the carnauba blue I called and asked about it. Lars told me that if the carnauba red was working to stay with it. As far as the creeping crud, it's still got me down. I hope I didn't pick up anything at the Atlanta airport...

Glad you like it, was wondering if you ever saw the post. Need to do more studying on wood craving. I was afraid people would say ( Why the mouse with horns) . 30/40 has always been one of my favorites as well. along with the 7x57 and 45/70, I...

The buttstock was attached just like the original with the rear tang screw, the forearm was attached by drilling and tapping the barrel. the forearm screw is hidden under the round horn inlay on the forearm

I never understood why the .260 was not more widely embraced. Imagine that...an easy way of making brass from .308's. In practical terms (hunting at 400 yards and less) using factory rifles, the 6.5CM offers less. Marketing BS at its finest.

Size matters...go with the 20. It will safely hold 15 lbs of alloy. I like to keep a bit of freeboard in pot level. Wanted to add: Be honest with your needs. Both wrt to quantity needed, reliability desired, and your desire/ability to tweak...

Ausglock has a very good setup and not terribly expensive. Not many will do the volume of casting he does, but it is a one time investment and very worthwhile IMHO. For $80 and a bit of fitting it gives not only the advantage of speed, for those...

It is a very wise move. I had two MEC's and hated the damn things. I sold them on eBay as I did not want to lose any friends at the club I shot at. You WILL dump shot eventually. Mostly my fault when I had an accident and I have a low...

I had a Seecamp. Very reliable. I vote...Next to Useless. 9mm is so much more effective in a slightly larger format. I converted to a Kahr for “light” carry. Cheap practice ammunition if someone does not reload.

I was able to walk to my shed and retrieve a battery charger, without carrying O2. Maybe took five minutes or so, then I had to repent and go sit down with the air hose back in my nostrils. To watch me try to breathe you'd think I was 97 or older...

At least 25k...maybe over 30k. As a hoarder, if supply drops to less than 10k, I get antsy. Have never been under 10k since about 2004. More importantly, alloy inventory will make well over another 100k. It helps to be a shooter instead of...

I had one but never really liked it so sold it. Mine was not ammunition sensitive and accurate enough for plinking. Never benched it. I had a Ruger and High Standard and preferred them.

If you use the data for the faster Powder, I do not see any issues with using it. Even if you put 1/2 a pound in. For powders with vastly different burn rates and physical characteristics it would not be wise.
