    All guns are fun to shoot except those with heavy recoil....at least for me. We shoot more .38’s in the lever actions and 9mm in the pistols than the other calibers. And they are cheap to cheap as well.

    Just load it using 300 Savage load data and you will not have any problems. Don't believe a critter or paper will know the difference between a 300 Savage load and the 308 win. I have one and that is what I am doing.
