Don't have much cash but do have a New unused set of Hornady 22/250 Rem dies or a Lyman single cavity 452490 single cavity mould, it is used but still has a lot left to its life. I could trade. Lost the 287405 mould I had in a move.

I had the battery replaced about six months ago and I shut it down every night for charging. This morning I had a call about 15 minutes after turning it back on, it would not accept it after the first ring.

There was a guy on the forum who did a lot of cold weather testing. It was an interesting read. Must have been 4-5 years ago....about the time the Three Amigos were working on an all weather lube. Cannot recall his handle but a search should...

Shot one competively many decades ago. Had a 1 in 10 Douglas barrel sleeved into it. 50 shots into just over 2.75” at 50 yards using Remington 148 gr HBWC....just under 3.5” with the H&G 50. My buddies Clark would do a bit better but not by much....

Great story and thanks for posting. But I do not envy you one iota when you touch off that first round. I could not sight that monster in.

Some of the very best pasties in the UP are from lttile podduck places. Some sold are not that great. If it does not have rutabaga in it, it is not a pastie.

I have a couple of M700’s with the trigger safety issue. I decided not to return them. Might come back worse than they are now. Hope your problem is a minor one you can live with. Curious about it though

The only cheap gun I have is a Compass. Very accurate. The looks, fit and feel scores a 4.....but shots like a 10.

I used a 10 cavity mold when shooting Bullseye. Imagine marking each of those cavities and sorting the bullets and reloads? Sometimes common sense is needed. Most commercial bullets are coming from 16 cavities. Good enough for the shooting...

I have a project in mind, but need a donor gun. An ugly 7mm number 5 would be right up my alley. I could make do with a number 1 also. Junk wood and bent barrel are fine. Pitting is fine so long as it isn't structural. Really don't want a bare...
