ZBench - Who makes the pinch prime die and press in your picture? I use a pinch trim die on my 22WMR and 17HMR cases in a RCBS press, it is more of a cone than what is in your picture. Use a Corbin press for my swaging operations.

The RCBS and NOE molds require gas checks if cast and lubed. If you are going to Powder Coat; then you will have to give it a try and see. For me, I still gas check all the Cast Rifle Boolits I Powder Coat.

+1 And shooting .38 spl makes them fun and relatively inexpensive as well. Can even start a young shooter on one with downloaded ammunition.

All guns are fun to shoot except those with heavy recoil....at least for me. We shoot more .38’s in the lever actions and 9mm in the pistols than the other calibers. And they are cheap to cheap as well.
