Your guns chamber/throat will be the deciding factor not only to boolit diameter but it will also dictate boolit seating depth . The newer and smaller the 9mm the less throat they have ...some have little or no throat which complicates the issue...

No law prohibiting the use of revolvers . Easy to load and you don't have to chase the empties . The model 58 S&W in my avatar does night stand duty in my house and I do not feel under armed . Gary

Nix the wood dowel...they can break and then you have two problems. Use a close to bore fitting steel rod and strike it straight on after flooding the chamber with penetrating oil (50/50 acetone - ATF is one of the best) let soak 24 hours . Gary

I did that ...once ! Talk about learning the hard way...it teaches you the value of sorting brass before it goes in the tumbler . No magic way to get them apart , just keep tapping on them , twisting, turning and pulling on them. Gary

Trust me on this .... Sort all the Zinc wheel weights out BEFORE you put them in the pot . Steel ones will not melt and will float but the zinc ones....They are sneaky . Flux when it's all melted and flows like water ... 725 - 750 degrees F. is...

Although I've reloaded for the 41 magnum for years all of my reloading has been with boolits from 195 grs. to 215 grs. . I have nothing as heavy as 265 grs. sorry ! I recently got a 237 gr. SWC from NOE but haven't cast the first boolit with it....
