    You didn't notice the letters LH stamped next to the screw , right above the mould numbers untill it was too late . Return the mould to Lee and see if they can help . Gary

    I solved all my leading problems with a gas checked 9mm boolit . NOE 358 - 124 - TC - GC , a 124 gr. truncated cone , 50-50 pure lead / COWW (soft alloy) sized .357 and can be driven to 1200 fps , conventional Lube ( Lithi-Bee). no water dropping...

    Sprue Plate Lube You can use Synthetic Two Stroke (two cycle) oil , the kind meant for a chainsaw or weed eater , a small bottle will last most of a life time . I got small bottle at wally mart $1.97 ...that's all you need . Apply to underside...

    And keep your loads in the 700 fps to 800 fps range . Speer shows data with a few loads @ 900 + fps but I believe they are too soft and would stick to 850 fps max . Gary

    A small ball of epoxy putty in the nose punch will make a custom fit , will last for as long as you want it to and can still be removed ... it's just a step up from hot glue . I tried hot glue but it didn't last very long . JB Weld Epoxy putty...

    If you have to resort to "drastic" measures , take it from an old Cajun....they is mighty tasty and make a good Gumbo or Jambalaya . Another tip ...treat them like quail or woodcock .
