I did a thorough sweeping of the floor. As usual, I used a magnet over the sweepings. Now I need to find where the spring and 2 set screws came from. At least I saved them from the trash.

You can put a shim under your existing scope mount base to elevate if you can't find a mount - if you do buy a mount I recommend a one pcs.

Glass bead blast will leave a matte looking finish normally and while not removing much metal it does "rearrange" it some. Sands are very abrasive some more so than others. Black Beauty cuts very fast and clean but on a tin roof may cut holes also....

Evaporust works excellent... it ONLY eats the rust, zero metal. It does take the bluing off so be sure to treat accordingly afterwards. I have used it successfully many times. A quick polish of the cavities with Clover wouldnt hurt either but go...

Most refrigerators and freezers made since the 60s have magnetic door seals that don't mechanically latch. They are well insulated to maintain an even temp, and a desiccant can will keep them reasonably dry. Although not the SAMI listed...

About 15 years ago the CZ52 in 762-25 was a popular import. As a group, 8 of us bought them from Ohio Guns. Not the easiest to become proficient with, but a good defense weapon at the price. We also got about 1000 rounds each of the Berdan...
