    Yes it came with one mag. I am a big fan of the 358 ...figure in a slick lever it is about the perfect loafing around gun here in Alaska .. not the ultimate bear gun but still pretty potent .... And fast. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

    IMR published data says 56.0 compressed IMR 4831, Win 405 gr SP, Win 8.5/120 primer , 2.550" OAL gives 1390 fps from 25" barrel at 17.8k CUP, if you use a 400 gr cast should be similar.

    I'd try a chamber cast one more time, dry brush the chamber and broken case and knock out as soon as cool/ solidified. I've removed several for people with a dental pick, make darn sure you are up inside the brass a good distance, dig the tip in and...

    Green in the barrel usually means copper (or some combination like brass or gliding metal) which means it was used with jacketed slugs or a really agressive bronze brush that left bits behind.....regardless ....the bucket method with some detergent...

    Plug the barrel just in front of the chamber, pour in enough cerrosafe to fill the separated casing, let it set 10 minutes and tap it out from muzzle.

    I have heard the came in 1 in 66 and 1 in 24 ........mine seems to make about a 1/2 turn in the 24" barrel ......I assumed about 1 in 48 .......I could be off some Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

    I just came across a like new huntsman, (yes it is the threaded breach plug) which appears to have a 1 in 48 twist .. I was wondering how long of a conical I can stabilize in it? ....was hoping to paper patch some of my pistol bullets at some point...
