IIRC, about 10-11 yrs ago. Many methods tried. Other thread in lubes was moved here about 2012 or so. There was some attempts with ceramic paint, most went for HF red.

I can get MOA @ 200 asbb PC in 308W, never worried about thickness (not a bore rider) but knock off excess before cooking. I pick them out of the bowl with hemos, tap the base on something hard and drop into the modded 45acp ammo tray to align. ...

I switched from the seeall to holo on my BO pistol. Pack a spare batt. Faster aq for pigs but no mag for longer distance. Easy both eyes open sighting, no squinting through a tube. 75-100 yds, bring the carbine with scope. Gave my RD & seeall to...

Tex - CB Loads / Military Rifles/new black out load - post #5. Haven't shot it in the 10" 8 pistol yet, just a holo sight. This is carbine 10:1, scoped. Upped the load and some with 296 for tomorrow, I hope. Slick sided PC vs BLL.

Use? Feeding is important, as well as bullet fit. If hunting, primary is hunting type and weight. Target only, pointy nose.

I don't worry about the statistics, let the target show the results. ES is highest and lowest fps, SD is the distribution of the fps. They really only relate to LOADING procedures, i.e. how identical are your loads? I can't shoot long range pistol...

None of my rifle moulds have a L.G. Most have a very shallow displacement groove, but the last one I did has NO groove (GC) and I shot MOA @ 50, ~1900 fps (150gr). while sized at 308 and lubed with BLL. Beginning to change my mind about boolit...

31-184c (185+ ready to load) and 33gr leverE does 2100 & MOA. WD COWW & PC, marlin 30/30. Not real heavy but feeds fine and not too much under the shoulder. Did a test on pig carcass, AC SOWW 9 gr unique, 30 in 45 out. IMHO WD for elk.

Finally shot the 31-142D 145gr GC AC 50/50 with Rx7, .6"x1" vert., 8 shots @ 50. ~100F out but I'm happy. Actually shot two but first was for function on another target. Close to same results. Somewhere around 1900? Cat some more last nite after...

Christianity over Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, or anything else? Because as a kid I was 'educated' in those and they didn't make any sense to me. I accepted Christ at an early age. He makes sense. Nature itself is a wonder to behold and i just cannot...

Will work without the GC but accuracy will suffer. My PB load is 7 unique for a 170gr. 16gr 2400 is GCd, still not much recoil.

They are considered hard cast, GC and 8gr unique or 14-16 of 2400 works fine. Tip rifle up before firing to prevent vert stringing due to powder position or add some Dacron filer - a pita.

Actually, some of the O.T. scribes made foot notes, that had to be 'realized' to get real meaning. Cannot believe in 6-24hr days of Creation in Genesis. Too much of that does not add up. Just got back from Ark and Creation Museum. Don't agree with...

I FB my Lee 40sw mould with an exacto blade. No biggie, sizer fixes any problems. It shot OK, no better than a BB. RD did a Lee 6x 30/30 mould half PB/GC, not the best job but they shot fine. Sizer fixes a lot of problems.

Anything with a yellow in it doesn't work well (shake). Don't let some un-named universities see the 'orange'. Actually smoke's powder is cheap compared to HiTek, both last a long time. I get better results with PC in 308W pushed hard, vs 3 coats...

I have both and prefer the Lee. There is a difference in design, Lee has a long throat before the short size section. Pop can checks should be seated base first. Aluminum needs to be drawn slowly or it tears and cracks. Try just seating base...
