19gr 4227 is a book load but not for soft PB alloy. With harder alloy I get moa @ 100, 2100 fps. Just tinkering here. When you get a puff of smoke & no hole on target, yea, screwed up. Chore boy time. Done it before, this wont be the last

I make my brass for bo but looked at a longer neck. It is possible but not sure it is needed. 125 to 150 gr are probably best for hunting, 110 work but need to be pushed fast to get energy up.

As my AC went out on Sat, Granger was the only source. ~50$, installed in 15 min. and up and COOL. IIRC a company in Fl bought the tooling from Mallory and is the only US manufacturer.

Start & run caps on an AC motor. Motor hums, does't turn bad cap.

50+7.5 uF. It will work fine. One is for the compressor, one for the fan. Often a larger start cap will compensate for long lines (& V drop). They go bad due to HEAT and use. They are electrolytic and dry out. Not cheap, mostly made NOT in the...

reliable cycling with loads down to 14 gr of 4227 Hmm. 13gr in a BO? After I de-lead the barrel - pushed them way too fast. Been looking for a plinker load under a 145gr PB.

I do recommend TD-ameritrade, had some stock with them I sold and they got it done right away(same day). There was/is a problem with worthless stock they can't figure out how to get off their books - still get a statement from them - penny stock in...

Got an old SS bolt 22 from a buddy as a kid. Pull the knob ( firing pin) catches on the sear(?),cheap and dangerous! IMHO 22lr case size has changed or QC sucks, ammo doesn't fit in older guns.

Unless it is in a trust go to probate, get a lawyer. You have to prove you are the proper receiver. Will helps. Broker just wants to keep it in his account. Bro did the probate thing for Dad, judge just makes sure everything is AOK.

SIL has his marlin 60 from when he was a kid, I have a more recent. His has trouble chambering new ammo! Might try checking ammo to find a brand that is larger vs smith work. Mine has many boxes of bulk stuff through it, still shoots good. 100 yds...

SIL has a original bring back in good shape, it shoots great. You do have to find out what chamber it has, many were modded. Official modded have the ground off chys. but who knows. IIRC some will take 303 ammo which is more available than 7.7 jap...

Yup, 308W carbine= 2400, 24" barrel=2700. MOA @ 200 (carbine) with 31-165C PCd,41gr 4895. Both are stock DMPS uppers, thinking of offloading the rifle upper as it is too heavy for my back and field work now. Not a problem from a stand. As for BO...

I'd give 4 gr. unique a try, its lots slower. Lets the bullet get into the rifling before kicking it hard. WSF or 231 might be another. If you are not water quenching after cooking, you must wait couple weeks for the alloy to harden.

My solution is a stepped base, basically most GC shank cut off. Easy to cull poor base and no long shank to rivit.

most of the kids were on ADHD meds. Have an acquaintance with 3 kids, claims all are somewhat ADD. Tested when they were 1 yr old. Could be genetic, I don't know but putting them on meds that early is bound to cause a problem. When I was a kid,...

LeverE works great for cast or jax at mid to hot loads, not very efficient for light loads but does work. I used 20gr. under a 170 RD style without GC and got good results. But unique or 2400 need less powder for the same result.

What alloy? Assume 9mm, they have notorious bad transitions to the bore. If the lands have no PC and DO have a big 'tail' in the L.G. might size a tad smaller. Also depends on the load and powder. Fast powder and hot load can bump it up before it...

Look for real fine specks when 'massaging' them with paper towel, after smash. HT is more brittle than PC, may look like it sticks OK but may crumble when shot.
