    From the 1:8 10 pistol, not the most accurate but hot ones are hard to handle recoil. Sitting at bench with SB front rest. 50 yds, all holes are round. Middle is 145gr hot.

    Yea, I'd try several types of cleaners first or US. Surprised BP can leave much residue in the bolt! But basically, for 2 piece pin, drive out the back one. then remove extractor and drive out second. Use a good roll pin punch. There is a flat...

    I have pics from Marlinowners site, no vid. 2 pins to punch on 2 piece FP. Older models have a one piece FP. Question is why?

    I use something like this with a 1$ ceramic tile on top to spread heat, steel scrap plate with parchment paper (tile isn't flat and I pick up the plate with pliers to WD). No spill, base down. Turn on for 1/2 hr or 1 hr if W.D., done. No domino...

    145 = 2k fps 170 PB 900 light load, ~1500 357ish load - not chronyd. 185GC - doesn't make any sense. Probably 1500 max. 10" 1:8 pistol.

    Ages ago in a far away galaxy ( maybe Tetons?) bears walked among us. On the paved path. IIRC they were browns & I think mama was teaching them how to panhandle. Have some family pics of them on top of cars, poking heads in windows, etc. Was told...

    I have the deluxe version, really like it. I shoot ARs and the height works fine. Rear bag is leather rabbit ears style. I use a 5# bar weight on the stand to prevent bounce. But have been working with sandbags and just squeesy bag at rear to...

    Carpenter's pencil (one with the wide flat point) lubes best and you can remove the 'bumps' easily when the plate is hot. Use it as a scraper and lube. Changed over completely to the pencil method it works so well. Also try filling from alternate...

    Yup, good ol speed traps. Long time ago FIL got stopped - slowest in the pack! Got stopped on a trip to Co. Long line of semis in right lane (287) chugging up the hill. Once in the left lane, no place to get back in line. Yea, did have to dodge a...

    2 1/2# is too light for me for anything. I put the happy trig in my 336 and that did make a big difference. Actually bushed trigger pin, EDM cut sear. I do like the floppy marlin trigger, takeup before the actual pressure - happy doesn't have that.

    AR10 39gr 4895 168gr GC PC ~ 80 yds, freezing weather prone. 310. 300 BO 1:10 carbine 145gr PB PC ~ 2100 fps. 3085. Both HT after PC, ~4% SB 0.5% Cu. Neither of My BO will take 310 sized. Seems to me harder alloy needs closer to bore sizing.

    As they solidify the antimony becomes less soluble in lead Partially correct. As the MIXTURE cools, layers of Sb rich/SB lean MIXTURES are created. Water dropping makes these layers very thin. Think of a block of sugar cubes (Pb). Lead 'moves' by...
