40 cast (Lee 180 TC) & 9 jacketed shot into a rock pile - I know, not an animal. Cast lost little weight - deformed is all. 9s lost a lot and the lower piece is cast 308 @ 2400 after cutting a 12ga steel wire in half. Alloy was WW with a tad of...

Great news, Jack's biopsy is benign, Joe is in hospital recovering from hip surgery and Mike got out of a long surgery this afternoon, prognosis looks good. Thanks God and all. Mom's still getting around in a wheel chair, 98 in Sept.

Actual boolit size depends on alloy. You also have to see what size the glock chamber will take plus getting an expander for the proper size. One advantage to the NOE system is that size inserts are only $6 ea. so get several and hone them out to...

My son has turned into a jeeper. Put big wheels and rise kit on his Rubicon. Today he leaves with wife & 2 grade schoolers from DFW to Moab, Jackson Hole, Estes Park & back to DFW. Not a trip I want to take (in a jeep). I get the Border Collie...

80% of auto accidents are rear-enders. I got it from 20K# of truck while at a light. Concussion & all. My truck totaled. Wife got rear-ended a while back, not much damage but funny. OP demanded cops take her to hospital and she ended up paying...

Yes Ben, fit is king but it is dynamic fit that is king. As Larry G. points out, there is a 0.5-1 thous. layer of 'soft/fluid' lube that gas pressure can 'blow' away. If you fill the LG you have a reservoir of lube so you don't run out of lube,...

Kevin C - I tried some BLL (original) on some lee 401 TC regular groove with soft alloy (like really soft), leaded the barrel - big chunks near the muzzle. I had to beagle the mould to get 401 I normally use so it was a 190gr boolit. Stiff load...

Not jst the RPM threshold, but many more factors. Non-linear dispersion is caused by 'angle of attack' relative to trajectory, wind, gravity, spin of the earth, several more. Cast typically doesn't have the high BC of jacketed which don't get...

Larry, no, I don't have a place to shoot past 100 - unfortunately. My point is that the alloy he wants to use is wrong. Your testing showed lino is not a HV alloy. My attempts with #2 weren't successful either. But it's an AR so I can't jam the...

This is my solution, not the RD but close (185gr GC). Use a fender washer reamed & polish to just size the ogive a tad. Getting seating where it should be cuts group size in half.

Inside fans are squirrel cage fans that work even with output back pressure but need the housing and probably some minor ducting. Compressor fans are blade type but still should have some shroud. Newer builder units are strictly single speed.
