Chopped the neck off and ran through a 9mm die - rimmed 358 straight wall pigmy with more case capacity (~75% of 30/30) than 350 legion. Actually as I didn't trim the mouth it went in the die crooked so barely a shoulder on one side only. ...

Only solution is vacuum the floor. Floor dust may get air born but will settle quickly as it is heavy. If you blow it around it WILL get everywhere.

This has been discussed several times, related to the content of nitroglycerin in the powder and or coating on the powder. As Jim says, still goes bang OK.

Playing the other day I cut the neck off 30/30, measure ID & OD, ran through a 9mm sizer to BO shoulder length. Neat - virtual 'straight wall' rimmed 358. More case capacity than 350 Legion. I'd push one down to 30 for a 'pigmy' but don't have a...

I will make an assumption about Tim. I assume he really is an atheist - stick with me. As an atheist, he believes the Bible is untrue(lie). But he uses it to try to 'prove' it is a lie. That is a logic fallacy, like you learned, double negative. ...

Your post is foolish and illogical Actually my post is exactly what the Bible says. It may seem illogical to what man thinks. Agreed that some with 'religious' fever and attitude can be obnoxious and harmful. Bible states that. If you've read...

The Bible explicitly states that the Trinity is the creator (Master of the Universe) that makes the 'rules', disobedience has consequences. Acceptance of the Trinity relieves the consequences. The Bible also states that there are forces (and...

Lots of arguments about who is right and who is a better person. Actually makes NO difference! None of us are 'good'! So you want to believe in an 'alien' god. So where did he come from, who is he, who 'made' him? Life elsewhere in the universe?...

Just wait till you catch one of those big ones on a light weight fly rod. Worse than a 5# catfish. Yup, time for the stupid city to dump trout in the city pond for the fish roundup. Thinking they will eat al the crawdads. Nope, just bluegill &...

Just thinking and you guy have the experience, how about a 30/30 shortened to 300BO length with a 30/30 length neck? 9mm or 30 cal. sized? Anybody done anything like that?

Allows bigger selection of bullets over the 32-20. With BO neck length you can load about anything but the lighter weight leaves the base in the neck so not much neck tension. BO brass is good for higher pressure so hotter loads. Longer neck get...

2 observations. 1) lubed loads show a circular pattern (pretty accurate though) on the target. I've gotten this before with bases NOT flat/good. 2) PP are horizontal stringing. Doubt that is PP problem. Note that there is a dark ring around the...

I keep thinking rimmed (357 case) necked to 32, 25 or 30 would be great for short range rifle. Available brass and choice of cal. Talked to a gunsmith the other day, he said only way anymore is a Ruger #1 rebarreled. RB & FB actions are just as...

I have to add Cu to the alloy for high rpm loads for 308W, else 'poof'. Soft PB won't cut it.

Was pulling some stuff Monday, one 40sw with HITek. No coating on the bands! Just slight tamper crimp but case tension too much - moved some Pb when seated. Old liquid green 2 coats. OF course no sign of crumbled HiTek.

Lemishine and liquid laundry detergent that dosn't contain ammonia. Don't have a pin separator yet but not a real problem doing it by hand. Dump on a large towel to dry in the sun - I've been using a metal pan on the hotplate (set low) for a final...

243K rpm says poof! 1500 says 135K rpm - maybe OK. And yes, the PP should shred at the muzzle.

Looks like over temp cooked anyway and yes, HiTek in that condition will turn to a powder when scraped off so you probably don't notice. Do a smash test on some you pulled and you see crumbly flakes.
