I had it so bad the computer went into deep freeze. ISP had a hard time figuring it out, finally sent out a techrep on the fifth day. No idea what the problem was, but they fixed it. Call your ISP.

That Lee TL356-95-RF is the profile I'm looking for. Not so much the wadcutter style. I saw in this thread rking22 mentioned a group buy for a 105gr version of the TL356-95-RF. Does anybody have info on the details of this group buy?

Look at some trajectory charts. For any appreciable increase in flat trajectory, you need to add 300 fps to your current load.

That's good to know as I intend to PC mine too. That Lee 105 grain SWC might do the trick.

7Acres replied to a thread 105 gr 9mm mold in Cast Boolits
Okay, that's an option. I'm looking for a flat nosed version to match the profile of my hollow point self defense round. Maybe I can pull a projectile and see if Accurate can match it with no hollow. It's just for plinking. I'm looking to get my...

7Acres started a thread 105 gr 9mm mold in Cast Boolits
I'm looking for a 9mm mold that drops 105 gr boolits. From my research it looks like 115 gr might be as light as they come. Can you give me some advice on where I might be able to find one?

Pyramyd Air had a 20% off sale, "best sale prices of the year " they claim it the latest cascade of emails. I had been wanting a wildfire since reading about the revolver action, thinking that if the sights stayed on target through the 12 lb...

I've got both black and grizzly around. I'm not too concerned about either, as the "researchers" haven't messed with them. If we get one that is a nuisance, the F&G will bring out a trap, and relocate them, so they can be a problem for someone else.

Or, you can use a small ball peen hammer and an anvil, to stretch the nose of the safe engagement a few thousandths.

No idea on aluminum. It's been years ago, but I did post the picture here of the barrel section I tried the fiberglass on. I ain't gonna search for it.

I beg to differ. I'm currently building the last guns for North Star West, and I knew Curly for many years. Curly had made all of the lock part patterns, and the wax casts were sent out to be cast, and then returned for final polish and assembly....

What I used was a rod that was sold to be used in muzzleloaders. Try it for yourself. Pull your barrel, and start sawing back and forth on the underside. Let me know your results. I know what mine was, and I know I will never put fiberglas in one of...

I did some testing of fiberglas rods on a section of barrel years ago. It was clear that I could have completely sawed the barrel in half with it. Best substitute is brass.

I figured I wasn't the first one to tread this path. I have just never considered all the possibilities before. I sent Larry some bullets, and I'm sure looking forward to seeing his results. I'm not as old as you are Rick, I had to give $4 a...

Very succinct. Nickle platting is slick, and hard, Some people say that sizing the brass makes the plating crack because it is not as flexible as brass. Flakes of plating could cause unneeded wear in expensive dies and barrels. I don't know if...
