thank you, Mike, I will try this procedure Indeed, upping the limit to 450C should be more than high enough for my casting So far, my first casting run with my usual 9+1 ww/lino ran very well at 404 C setting on my 0-1300 Rex C100 ...

Pink or blue Styrofoam 4" thick or more, no ricochets. Plywood behind just in case. When the front of foam gets worn flip it around.

( I did not mean T/C. I meant to ask about PID controller.) Is there a reasonable way to change a REX C-100 PID digital temp control unit range from 0-400 C to a higher temp range at least 0-600 C. thanks beltfed/arnie

Question about the Rex C100 PID controllers: Can the "0-400 C" range unit be changed to a higher range by somehow reprogramming or whatever. Or is in not worth "screwing" with? Reason I ask is twice, out of 4 orders, when I ordered a 0-1300 C...

Looks like image recognition controlling servos basically. Certainly interested in this after sorting head-stamps recently, not $3,000 interested though.

I have been shooting a 32-40 Rem Hep /8 twist barrel on BRG BPCR action for Schuetzen. Case Capacity is close to the 30-30. I am shooting the LYman 311299-nom 200 gr and the 311334-nom 190 gr both w/o Gas Check over 15.5-16.5 gr IMR 4227. shoots...

You will likely want to try different size apertures. I find that larger ones work better in low light conditions for me, a much younger friend does well with much smaller ones than I find useful. Everyone's eyes are different.

Thanks, guys, I did that. First time, they refunded my $ and said. Don't bother sending back the T/C The second time, different seller, he asked for and/I sent pics last week showing the 0-400 marking on the labels of the T/C when the ad had said...

Question is: Can I use a 0-400 C (32F-752F)thermocouple at higher, say up to 800 F on my 0-1300C PID? With continued accuracy? And without burning out the t/c quickly? I did get one T/C with 0-1300C range, but: ( I have ordered additional...

I had the same issue with at a UPS Store once. I promptly went to the post office across the street and shipped it without any issues. The stores have different policies than the hubs, but this employee is clueless. It is just a "wood carving" not...

Jonp Glad you were not hurt! You appear to be on the right track with this IMO. Either the load or the gun. I owned a taurus many years ago and sent it in for warranty repairs twice before the LGS bought it back as it never got fixed. I will...
