Living in the free state of Texas, Iím unfamiliar with gun registration laws, but that gun qualifies as curio & relic, so would it be exempt? The antique definition really needs to be updated. Itís been at least 50 years since it was set at 1898.

What I really want to see is an S&W L-frame 10mm to better fit my stubby fingers. I donít see the purpose of a 610. In a large frame gun, may as well go .41/.44/.45. I have the GP100 MC 10mm. Itís pretty nice. I had to swap the grips for...

Not just the weight of the gun but itís distribution. A revolver has a massive amount of weight forward of your hand to dampen recoil. A bottom feeder, especially polymer, has much more of its weight further back, where it doesnít do anything...

I bought some rural property and wonít have electricity anytime in the near future. Iím going to need a generator for construction of a cabin, running no more than 2-3 portable power tools at a time, and later powering lights plus a room air...

Undersized throats can be reamed or honed to a larger diameter. You canít make a big throat smaller, though. My impression is by the -5 change they had fixed it. If youíre inspecting one for purchase, take a .452 cast slug and see how easily it...

Please do not go by Blue Book values. I canít speak to 1911s, but on S&W revolvers, where I have some knowledge, their valuations are what Iíd expect a pawn broker to offer. The copy I bought shouldíve been on the Science Fiction/Fantasy aisle....
