Not a firearm misplaced but some extra components. I built a switch barrel 1911 in 45ACP and 400 Corbon (both government model slide setups) a few years back and recently added a Combat Commander 45ACP bull and barrel and slide to the setup for my...

Yeah, I've seen those and actually just checked recently that they're in stock. Glad to hear that they are a quality sight, thanks! I've got a couple of things on Swappin'&Sellin' and if they get sold, that's where the cash is going. About your...

I'm dealing with this very issue with a new AR10 upper in 6.5 creedmoor. My other reloads for my Mauser 98 chambered in that same caliber has no problem loading the cartridges but the new rifle is a no-go with the older reloads while new cartridges...

I picked up a bunch of primers recently at an estate sale. By "bunch" I mean over 2k of various types. Over half were of this vintage. I see no reason not to use them either... Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk

Yep....the last weekend of Sept. is traditionally our "Applebutter" makin' weekend. All day affair.....starting with the "wimmen" peeling, coring, and "snitting" 6 bushels of Stayman apples. Cook down all day in our copper kettle, add some sugar,...

I can only echo the affection the others have expressed about the 1895 Winchester. That was on my bucket list for quite a few years but I finally found a nice one a couple of years ago. Actually it's a rather "newer" model manufactured in 1923 and...

Well, I attended another auction and came home with a few extra's I don't need: First, a Lyman 445599 mold. Looks like a .45 caliber Miniť ball and mold is in great shape. $35 TYD Second, a bag of .357 158gr JHP (Hornady possibly?). I...

Just a shameless bump..... A quick note about the press; the turret rotates "solidly" with no slop or looseness that I can feel. I would love to keep it for my Lyman 'M' Lee Expander dies but I just don't have the room. Thanks

In order to get an old, neglected Pacific DL-366 for a project rebuild, I had to buy the whole estate reloading package. As I donít need any of these extraís, Iíve broken the items for sale into groups and Iíd like to sell that way (for now). The...

discount the varied lengths of the cases, I was eyeballing the trim back to 57mm with a 22-250Rem Lee Pilot (I have a custom-length Lee .22-57mm pilot coming soon) but the key takeaway from the image is the scoring of the necks by the RCBS seating...

Hornady isn't making A-Maxs anymore so they soon will go the way of the Herter's Wasp-Waisted Bullets...You might want to develop a load with a different bullet soon. That said, I loved their 6.5mm 100gr A-Maxs and I am not a fan of their new ELD...

I'll upload a photo tonight of the impact that the reloading dies have on the reformed 7x57 brass. Accuracy was horrendous past 25 yards with cast bullets as I think I was sizing them down during the seating process.

Let me know whenever you tire of the experiment with this cartridge as I've been looking for a 38-45 Clerke 1911 barrel for a long time also. CH-4D does have dies if you can't find any local.

Trying to decide between inside or outside neck reaming for a 22-6mm Remington wildcat I built this summer. To form the brass, I'm going to need to ream the brass necks of my x57mm length cartridge cases to fit the RCBS Wildcat 22-6mm Remington...

I bought a PSA Gen 1 Lower receiver and Gen 2 Upper receiver last year when they were on sale and then proceeded to build it as a 308 Win first before changing the 20" barrel out when a 20" 6.5 Creedmore barrel came available (I love 6.5 caliber...
