I forgot to mention, I bought mine in a RCBS kit in 1981. It came with a set of scales, a powder measure and dies. The gunshop only had one in 30/30, but they swapped out the dies for a set of RCBS 223 and added a set of 308 dies. The kit has paid...

Saturday, at the gunshow, i bought a shoe box full of primers, most were in original boxes. But there was a baggie with about 1000 GCs (22 cal copper) mixed with about 500 percussion caps...two different color/style percussion caps. I tried to...

I never slugged my SIL's Hungarian 9mm Mak. My 95gr Lee mold drops them at .366 or a bit more? it's been a while since I cast some. I Lube them with 45-45-10 twice, then load 'em without sizing using PowerPistol powder.

if it's a hot summer day, I dry them outside, in the sun. BUT, if it's wintertime in MN, I use the wood stove to dry them. Also, I decap all rifle brass before they get the citric acid bath, bottle neck cases dry better without a spent primer in...

Maybe? The Hutchinson show in late Sept has been a staple for 36 years, known widely as a locally run 300 table show (by the Elk's club) with lots of private dealers, much like the Wells, MN show in March. There is usually a "crocodile productions...

Myself, I keep it all separate and in it's original form, but I don't have 800lbs of mixed type. If I had 800lbs of mixed type, that's been sitting unused since '75 and I wasn't planning on selling it, then I'd surely think your plan of smelting it...

You may need to go to a larger diameter. One easy check, will your sized bullet go easily into a fired case? If so, you need more diameter. There should be some resistance when the bullet enters the case.

A .35 at 200 yards, and 2100 fps works as well or better than a jacketed bullet. At least none I've shot have complained, and are down in 30 yards or less.

I tried some Hornady 174Gn RN bullets on Sunday. They got 2" groups, but the aiming point on the target was a 1" red dot and not as visible as I'd like with the 6x Leupold. That is the only jacketed bullet I have tried that is close to a reasonable...

shot the barrel loose? WOW ! Ruger couldn't fix it? WOW ! again. As DougGuy says, .431 seems like the size to use, if it'll fit. Hunting load, I'd use H110, work up a load for your gun, starting at Hodgdon's recomendation for a start load.

I'm using a very old set of RCBS dies which seem to be a much better product the current new ones. I resize 38/55 brass to 32/40 in one pass. These dies will load any of three different projectiles.
