I bought copper "Scrub-Buddies" for $1 (3-pak) at the Dollar Tree store. They passed the magnet test as well as the side cutter test. https://www.dollartree.com/Scrub-Buddies-Copper-Wire-Scourers-3-ct-Packs/p346531/index.pro

I've paid 60 per lb for COWW in the raw, and I was reasonably sure they were old enough to have no or very little non-lead WW. I wouldn't pay any more than that. ALSO, Smelting a ton of COWW is a ton of work, especially if you have 'small'...

Cheapest and easiest way is to shoot the right diameter bullet, proper alloy hardness, good lube. Then you don't have leading to deal with.

The context of that phone conversation was no more boxes created/sponsored by you because you told a member who refused to forward or return a box which only contained junk (verified by another known member) he would "suffer" if he did not do as you...

yes I slugged the barrel and it is .323 hence my bullets sized to .324, I was suprised at the bore size as I have also read all of the posts on all of the different forums suggesting a much larger bore size.
