waksupi replied to a thread case sizing lube in Cast Boolits

My possibles bag is made from blanket material. All my shooting bags are leather. The Metis and Ute did wool shooting bags, and there are examples from a few other tribes. Whites generally used a bark tanned leather.

My first guess is that your mold isn't preheated well...but that's my guess. Are your boolits frosted? my 2 I think there is a reason why many boolit casters use a Ladle to cast large boolits. I, myself, have never given ladle casting a good...

If this works out, you'll be much happier with the Redfield. I love mine on my Winchester. Get a nice white or gold bead to go with it. I'm constantly taking money from scoped-bolt-gun crowd at the range... Cheers!

Tazza, Generally, you can use 120mls Acetone with 20g Hi-Tek powdered coating. Use same volume/quantity as you would use with 20/100g ratio. The more Acetone mix will get into lube grooves, and also leave better drying finish. What you must keep...
