Please watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbYOG5xKTr0 The Hi-Tek coating stays on the alloy during severe deformation. Sizing down 2 or 3 thou is no problem. Bullets are cast over sized, coated with two or 3 coats, and then sized to...

Good info and glad I was correct about H322 being surplus IMR 8208. The last surplus was from Dan at HiTech about 1995 if I remember correctly, at $64.00 for 8 pound jug not unreasonable. The lot he was selling was right on par with the H322 product...

I have never heard of it and was commenting on H322 the extruded powder. Is it ball or extruded powder just curious.

My rifle is a M17 Remington with an M17 Box magazine and follower but a Winchester P14 bolt. Has been converted to 303 Epps (two center rounds)!

I have a Pedersoli Lightning 44/40 which I use for Western action shooting. Apart from a vary stiff magazine spring (I cut 4" of it) it feeds and functions perfectly

I never used H322 until about 1974 or 1975 but it was an extruded powder then and 45 years later still is. I have no idea what the 322 marked on your jugs meant(could they actually been marked 223;=)), but know they sold gallon jugs of a surplus...

waksupi replied to a thread ? scam in Our Town
Hackers can set up a random number generator to do a million combinations in a blink of an eye. Then they just need to dump the numbers into a system, and see what they hit. That's also how they get your passwords, and telemarketers find you.

It sounds like they may have not neutralized the bluing salts. Scrub it down with Coke or Mt. Dew, and see it it stops.

H322 was originally a repack surplus powder but it was not the ball powder Accurate 2230. H322 was surplus IMR 8208 an extruded stick powder from 5.56. When surplus ran out I believe Hodgdon had a replacement made in Scotland for a while.
