I bought a set of 44 Mag dies in about 1970 and they were all steel but I have seen many pistol die sets with the aluminium expander die body.

EDG replied to a thread New Lee Locknuts in Reloading Equipment
I loathe Lee lock rings. I set my bottle neck FL dies to position the shoulder to an exact match to my chambers. This is exact to .001". The Lee dies permit the die body to move in the lock ring. This changes the die setting and is unacceptable.

I have 2 digital scales and 4 or 5 beam scales plus 2 Autoscales that are beam type auto tricklers. My digital scales are the RCBS 750 Rangemaster and the second generation Dillon Determinator. I would never use any inexpensive digital scale for...

The real difference that killed the US machine tool industry was the ridiculous prices of union made machine tools produced in the US. The excellent Japanese machines were often 1/3 to 1/2 the price of an equivalent American made machine. I bought...

Just buy a lighter rifle. The cost of rebarreling a rifle adds little to nothing to its value so you will never get that money back. That money is considerable. You might be looking at $500 for a tapered round barrel and $650 for a tapered octagon....

Making 25 Krag would not be much different than making 6.5x53R Dutch Mannlicher from .303 Brit brass. I have posted that process several times.

No I will not be surprised. The only thing telling you the bible is right is the bible itself. That is known as circular logic. You can keep telling yourself you are right but that does not make you right. You have no external proof that any of...

Not one of the generalized comments you made about me are true. To say those things without knowing who I am just tells me that you really ARE angry and you ARE afraid. The hallmark of believers is their fear of death. So they latch on to the...
