You can watch the drag races for free by just pulling over on the side of I-15 in the North Bound Lanes.

Races, Races, Races. The complex is quite awesome and interesting. I actually look and see what races are scheduled on the weekends, we avoid going from Moapa to Vegas/ Vegas to Moapa because I-15 can literally be stopped traffic from the traffic...

Davis bacon rate for Laborers in Southern California is $32.00 to $39.00 per hour. I would advocate since this is your work to prepare the Estate for Sale - Using that Rate (Certified by US Government and California for 2017 as "Fair Market" via...

Not sure about the Gun Show; but be careful of the Neighborhood. From the East Side Cannery all the way to Nellis AFB the area has deteriorated with lots of crime. You'll be OK at the larger Casino/Hotels (Cannery, Sams Town, etc.) as a general...

Years ago I would go to the range and the trash would be overflowing. I started taking the Trash Bags out of the cans and putting new empty bags I bought at the Big Box Store into the Trash cans. (no spare Trash Bags on site) I now haul the Trash...

Interesting thought. We know that Congress and Obama spent almost $10 Trillion more than they took in as taxes. Where did it go?

MUSTANG replied to a thread Remington Arms bankruptcy in Our Town
Many of the big name Gun Manufacturers such as Colts, Remington, Marlin, etc... had good solid loyal customers. They were bought out by the "Wall Street" types and their bones picked over, and as planned from the start; once they were irrecoverably...

We only have one AR. Bought it back in the Clintonista Regime when the rage was banning everything in site and compromising on allowing 10 Round Magazines. Despite spending in excess of $800.00 for it way back when (Colt AR-15), it is still a good...

I would say look for remote parcels of land / rural parcels of land with homes spread out. That way you can reduce the numbers of people (societal negative influences seem to rapidly change/expand in high density population areas). Then build/buy a...

Is it possible weigh the Loaded round and provide the weight to readers of this thread? That would allow BJThomas99 to weigh his round and possibly determine if it is simply a repackaged 7.62x51; or a Duplex round.

Agree. I survived the last drought on 22LR (vastly escalated prices) because I had stocked up with many thousands over the year by buying a 550 pack or so every pay day. I now pick up 100 to 200 rounds a month in 50 packs (not shooting much 22LR);...

Just had a thought. Weight will tell the difference. I am not sure what the weight each of the two bullets in a duplex load is; but weighing a standard 7.62 x51 round (Ball, Powder, Case) should give a significantly lower weight compared to the...

Yep, I have some stock that is now worth $0.00. But other investments in Lead, Silver, Gold, and Bullets still have value (More than what I paid; may be not as much growth as our Apple and Amazon stock - but part of the Balanced Portfolio).

Do not know. For those readers who do not know what a Duplex Round is: The Green tip on the left is a complete round, and the 2nd is a cutaway of the Duplex 7.62x51. Note the significant reduction in powder capacity in the case.
