I shot 400 gr. cast when I had my .480. I didn't think the recoil was any worse than the .44 with stout loads of 2400.. I put a LOT of those one ounce boolits down range, and depleted my ingot stash too fast.....

I have neuropathy and had to trade or sell my Glocks for something with an exposed hammer. One of the reasons was I could no longer take them down for a proper cleaning. I ended up with a CZ 75 SP-01 and am learning it as I go. I shot a Colt GM 1911...

I have experimented with .31 caliber "buck" stacked 3 rows of 9 shot through a full RemChoke over 30gr. HS6. They did very well. I wrote about it here earlier. I put 24(IIRC) pellets in about 18 inch circle at around 30 yards. Beyond that it opened...

I oil inside and outside of cavities with my Marsh brush and just heat the mold and burn the oil out of them when I start casting. The first few are wrinkly, but after a few cycles they are dropping perfect bullets then.

Model 65 is a fixed sight .357 Mag. Model 67 is the adj. sight .38 Special in stainless. The Model 15 is the blued K Frame adj. sight gun. My advice if wanting to stick with a fixed sight K Frame is a good 158gr. bullet over some Unique or...

I have an older MKII. Wife bought it used for me for anniversary years ago. It fed horribly and constantly jammed. A guy at the range looked at and said his dad's was doing the same thing and he Dremmeled the feed ramp. I am not one to use the word...
