I downloaded the scanner scanned my DL and looked at the results. About the only thing it didn't have was my blood type. I suppose "they" know that I did that. I'll be on the lookout for the black helicopter tomorrow when I go to Ft....

Flared some 9mm and flared and reprimed a few 30/30 brass. I also tried my hand at putting a paper patch on three boolits for the 30/30 but I dunno how that's going to work.

I like shiny brass. But there are times when I went back to the shed to make sure everything was unplugged. Then one night I looked out the window and saw that the lights were on. I could have sworn I had turned them off. Chemicals will do that to...

I'm happy to see that there are others that tried stuff before I did. That will save me a project. I may try it with my 30/30 if I get bitten by the bug again....

Every time I go onto Ft, Benning my DL gets scanned, or I don't get on. Lori has a CAT card, as she works as a teacher on base. Makes life eaier. I can go through any gate with her driving. Still have to show my DL, however....

I didn't take a picture, but yesterday at the SO range I shot twelve shots into a small hole @25 yards from an improvised rest with a load of 5 gr. Bullseye, a LR magnum primer, a Lee 160 gr.gc bullet sized to .309 and lubed with two different...

resized and cleaned some 9mm and 30/30 brass, then cleaned the pistols that I too to the range. Gotta get my 30/30 cleaned soon. I only shot 20 rounds from it, and 12 of those were mouse fart loads. Mighty fine group from those! Well, all the loads...

I live a few miles SE of Beagle333 a block from the Chattahoochee river. Humidity is always horrible here. I inspect my firearms at least monthly, and those that make the trip to the range and get fired get a good cleaning in the shed, starting with...

I've been hunting with single shot rifles since the 70's. The longest range that I can go to sight in is 100 yards, and my Ruger#1B will put my handloads in a nickel sized group at 2" high @100 yards. It makes me happy. I haven't hunted in several...

I never shot a moose, but 90% of the deer I shot were hit in the middle of the shoulder, and seldom went very far if anywhere. Granted, moose is a tad bigger than a whitetail, but the principal is the same.

I saw some ceramic blast media @ Harbor Freight yesterday, I believe it was about $18 or so. I didn't get it, but am thinking about mixing some with my corn cob media I get from Midway. I've tried a lot of things, including rice, and wasn't pleased...

I have a 30-06 A.I. and love it. I want to rechamber my 30/30 to an A.I. If I had another 22/250 I would do so in a heartbeat. The 22-250 I had was an encore pistol, not the best candidate for rechambering. I just like the A.I. platform. If it adds...
