I'm using some Bullseye that is probably 25 years old. From the pictures you posted that powder looks good. I see no "rusty" looking flakes, and you'll know when the fragrance is telling you that the stuff is bad. The ammonia smell will knock you...

I've heard of this as well. I also have heard when junkies get combative after Narcan administered due to their "high" being ruined.

I'll pick up a Handloader if I can find one, and subscribe to G&A. It's not as good as it used to be, I suspect it's because of all the black rifle articles, and I never warmed up to them. Nor do I want an Aimpoint optic. But I still read it. Maybe...

Got it mostly from being a " Man" back when I was young and stupid. The 22 years at the sawmill didn't help any, even with the supplied yellow ear plugs. I mostly just ignore it, it's constant, 24/7 noise, and the hearing tests show the same thing,...

Update.... Steve called a while ago. His parents are home, a bit stiff and sore, but safe and uninjured. He'll call me tomorrow with another update, and I'll send it on. Thanks!

It sure is prettier.... I have some, mostly for my 30-06 A.I., and find some for the 9 mm, but in my confused opinion it doesn't last quite as long as plain brass. I know it doesn't in pistol and revolver ammunition. At least that's been my...

I thought the NASA study was about a bumble bee.... As for patched RB in a muzzleloader, if you look at the base of a Maxi-ball after it is fired and the backside of a rb, you'll see little burn marks in the MB, and may find weave marks in a rb...

One New Years Day I was hunting with a friend, and the weather was cold and drizzly. I stumbled upon a rabbit in a den. It didn't even jump, just stretched out, got really stiff and died. The guy I was hunting with said it was a "haint", and as he...

I shoot multiple .32 caliber bullets in both my 30s and 31s. Most recently I was shooting some Clone 3118s in my Enfield. Pistol bullets do great in the old war guns. Nice plinkers - easy on lead and powder.

I just saw another nice Ohaus 10-10, in box with dust cover, looked pristine, sell for $45 + ship. It was on one of those buy/sell/trade groups on facebook. There are some really smokin' deals in some of those groups.
