While 44/40 and 45 Colt are very similar they are not the same. The 44/40 was induced parallel to the 45 Colt not from the 45 Colt. The 45 Colt was designed specifically for the 1873 Army. It was a folded case design using the Benet style...

I have several guys who just sit in front of the TV at night and work the handles up and down because they like the feel of the tool. That's called "Tactile Gratification." and you all have experienced it if you like girls. Randy

Have you heard of Fletchettes? Well if you haven't they are a specialty payload for shotshells. A Fletchette is essentially a little Dart made from a 2d nail with fins stamped on it instead of a conventional nail head. They were loaded into 12...

To add my .02,,, As far as hardness, I can see no difference in the holes in paper targets or splats on steel targets. I cast virtually everything out of Regular Wheel Weights because I have alot of it. I can understand how being harder would...

Yeah: BPI's Descriptions of these tool is a little sparse They show a picture of 8 heads which I suppose are different in some way but don't explain any of it. I know you need a spool (the Head) and an Arbor. which is essentially a 6MM bolt...

My Gawd: I'm surprised no one recommended the Buchanan Precision Machine Hand Press with the Hornady Lock N Load option. It is as fast or faster than any single stage option and it fits in a nice small case so it doesn't take up alot of room. ...

OK; there appears to be some misconceptions about SAAMI Specs for .44 Magnum in Rifles versus Pistols. They are different for a reason. For Pistols the groove diameter is .429+/-.002. For Rifles it is .431+/-.002 Marlin Rifle barrels are...

The import of russian primers was banned in 2014. I used a lot. Wish I still could get them. Purchased 20K SRM in 2016. That was the last time I could find them. I ran out about 1 1/2 ago.

The push for green primers with a limited shelf life prevents me from profiting from the current craziness. I am hopeful that things get better but I am planning for worst case.

About 30 years ago my cousin was drawn for literally a once in a life time ND Elk tag. She used a borrowed 240 Weatherby to take a massive 7x7 Elk. One shot at just over 300 yards.

I've killed over 250 medium game animals with a very large variety calibers and I've never found the 243 lacking for deer sized game. Never counted exactly but it's at least 60 with a 243. That includes a 26" and a 28" mule deer. Never came close...
