Unopened means they are full. If that is the case the powder has significant value. Bullseye and Unique are currently in high demand. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?390755-Old-powder-cans-tins-amp-kegs

A few vets fought in WWII, Korean and Vietnam. I don't know any that fought in all 3. I have known and spoken with several that fought with the M1 in Korea and the M-14 in Vietnam. Of the ones that used both in combat to a man they preferred...

It's not hate it's just understanding that the enBloc system had limitations. History has shown it was inferior to the box magazine system. If it was a superior system all modern military small arms would be using it. EnBlocs are now mostly just...

The whole point is they are close enough to round. Both should be fine for relearning how to shoot a sling shot. Everyone thinks shooting rocks is a good idea. And if you had nothing else, it could work but you'll never get any repeatable...

Yes they are kind of specialized. I have Ruger PCC in .40 S&W and I got it specifically to compliment my G23 and G35 which use the same magazines. It could be a good bug out gun to go along with the Pistols, but otherwise it is just a fun gun. ...

I've never really thought about this a lot other than I have never been able to get them to shoot at distance. It's been long enough since I did direct comparisons and I really don't remember how they performed at 100 and 200 yards but they must...

Blackwater: I haven't actually shot mine yet. It has been sitting for a couple of years after I got to the point it is at now. The big stop has been not having an Oven big enough to cure the Cera Kote. Now they have Cera Kote that doesn't require...

Now you guys do know that your Scope Mount needs to have a stop pin that fits in one of the holes in the top of the receiver to stop it from moving,,, Right? I try to use one piece mounts any time I can and UTG makes decent ones with the stop...

Digital micrometers are widely used and they have there place. The issue with the one the OP asked about is it is digital only. Ones that have both digital and conventional readout campability would be the way I go if I wanted a digital. Here is...

Capt: How big are your balls. like 8MM-10MM ? 3/8" steel balls are 52 gr. I figure draw length by holding a Tape Measure in my left hand and drawing the tape out to my cheek then locking it. I get 29" every time. I just broke my first set of...

I'm at .40 S&W and .45 ACP and .44 Spec/Mag. I have a 9MM conversion barrel for my G23 and a box of ammo, but I've never fired it with the 9MM barrel. My Favorite is all of them, as all have different uses. I have .44 cal rifles and handguns. I...

I love the M1 Garand. That being said I am in the camp that maintains the EnBlock clip is a elegant solution to a problem that didn't exist. It's not like BAR mags hadn't been around since 1918. This was a cost based decision.

I got a Boyd's Gray Laminate Stock and Fore end for my #4 Sporter. Actually a Parker Hale conversion. Now in 35-.303. It looks nice and will look even nicer if I ever get around to finishing the metal with Cera Kote. Boyd's has a zillion choices...

Yes I'd just load with standard pistol loads and be done with it. There is little to be gained by using different powders over the gains from the longer barrel with regular loads as it sits. There is nothing to be gained by increasing the velocity...

The issue may be terminology. The measurement that is of most importance to bullet casters is the diameter of the grooves in the barrel. Then land diameter is the bore diameter. http://mcgowenbarrel.com/bore-groove/ Example is a standard...

For even number lands and groove a standard mic works. For odd numbers you need a v-mic of a specific angle. S&W uses a 5 groove so I use a cheap 108 degree $94.00 SHARS 0.2-1" 108 Degree 5 Flutes V-Anvil Micrometer Graduation 0.001 Ebay sells...
