Well, after two phone calls, left messages and five emails, I finally got someone today. Apparently they just shipped out the part today after they didn't know where it was and lost it. The woman I spoke to today had to be walked through what I had...

Anyone else having problems or issues with Homestead Parts? I ordered parts for my Winchester 1892 two weeks back, the order went through according to the credit card, they were supposed to send me an email with a tracking number, never got one,...

I've been getting more and more into gardening the last couple years, and in addition to doing container gardening, I was thinking of growing some medicinal herbs inside this year. Since this is a northern climate, it's typical, hot summer, cold...

Well, got around to pulling a .32-20 factory Remington round apart today. The bullet measures .308", which of course, is too small. Even all the reloading data out there I could find says a .312" bullet. I haven't taken apart a Winchester factory...

I have always wanted a 1876 but I can't afford even an Uberti replica. I would someday like an original in either .40-60 or .45-60 but I have would have to sell one of my vehicles to finance one. They're great rifles though.

My son is a fishing whiz. He's been fishing since he was 3, he turns 9 next month. Last year he won the local 4H contest and this past weekend he was in the local fishing derby which had about 65 kids in it and he won 2nd place for crappie. Here he...

I've been thinking about fire lapping the barrel of my 1892 Winchester .32-20 since I get some rounds that keyhole, especially with the factory ammo, and there is some pitting. I know I don't have a huge amount to gain, but maybe if I can get a...

Let me check my parts box, I still may have my front sight that came off mine when I put a fiber optic sight on it.

I would have to go with the old favorite, the .30-30. I've had a number of them over the years, Winchesters and Marlins both. I would like to sit down and get another 1894 saddle ring carbine someday, but the prices on them have gotten more than I...

I will probably be taking the gun down again in a week or so. I noticed last night before I posted that the spring for the cartridge stop with the left cartridge guide is toast, no tension at all. The weird part, I mean really weird is that when...

Drat, drat and double drat! Well, I thought I had the problem licked. Once I got the 1892 up and running again, thanks again to Hootmix for the ejector collar. But now it won't load again. I completely took the gun apart, and cleaned many, many...

I appreciate it, who would think one of the smaller parts like that would be one of the parts so hard to find?

Sadly I can't find mine, which is why I need another. I haven't been able to locate it since I had mine apart for a cleaning, which looked as though it hadn't been done since Model T Fords were new on the lot.

Looking to replace the ejector spring collar on my 1892 Winchester rifle, the original needs to be replaced, can't find one in stock online anywhere, even the reproduction companies don't have one. My gun is in .32-20 but they apparently are all the...

Well, I think I am on the right track. I checked all the screws again to make sure they were tight, and I loosened up the screw for the loading gate, didn't take it out, just loosened it some, then retightened it and some gunk came out when I did. I...

The loading gate is what I would call somewhat springy, it's got tension but I think it might be the culprit. I loosened it up and then tightened it again, and now it feeds say one out of three and if you tilt the gun a bit to the left it chambers...

I recently found a Winchester 1892 in .32-20 made in 1894. I took it to the range today and found that it doesn't chamber a round. It will bring a round up, and then it seems to hang there and won't go forward. It does the same with my 115 grain...
