I have the MP 44 HBWC mold. Supposed to cast 213gr as HB and 248gr as solid. I dont have any cast at the moment, but if you want to try some at a later date let me know.

I use reformed 30-30 but I take care to set up my dies to only size enough that the case or cartridge just chambers and headspace is set by the shoulder not the rim. If the rim recess is excessively deep and you size the shoulder back too far, you...

Since it doesn't bulge all cases, is it possible the boolit is getting pushed back into the case during feeding. Have you chambered rounds and then verified OAL hasnt changed?

How short on the OAL? Just seating a little deeper than OAL specified by load data or getting some bullet setback upon chambering can cause pressures to skyrocket. If you are seating deeper than specified by data, then I'd drop the load down as...

So, have the deprimed cases been opened up / sized to .308 or just deprimed in a universal deprime die?

I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Had a new one and sold it last year. You should be able to fix it up and make a shooter out of it for a reasonable cost.

I have a 16" stainless 7-30 waters in a G2 carbine. It has accounted for a number of "1st" deer for cousins. It is lightweight and easy to carry. I have a custom wood stock with a longer than normal length of pull. You can shoulder it one handed...

I load the MP 311410 with deep hollowpoint in subsonic 300 BLK and get decent expansion. Since it is a hollowpointed spire point, the hollowpoint is more fragile and seems to guve decent expansion at subsonic velocities.

I have a 16" carbine barrel. It is a tack driver. I have shot it as a pistol a couple of times. Just about the only barrel I still have left.

That 600 yard shot, would've had around 300ftlb of energy or slightly less, and around 700 fps velocity left. Yeah, I think it would've penetrated and not bounced off. Folks load 200 grain FBI 38 loads to about 750 fps for PD loads.

How many are you wanting? I have a few boxes put back. Going to have to rebarrel before I use all of them. Might let some go. Shoot me a PM.

Maybe I'm the odd man out, but I have gone away from the RCBS charge master back to a uniflow dispenser, beam balance and a trickler. It is faster for me than the charge master for the 60-100 grain charges I measure. Even on the 20-44 grain...

Tripplebeards, great job. This is not just for you, but in general to someone contemplating trigger mods. You have to be careful and not change the sear angle to a dangerous negative sear engagement if you stone the sear surface. If you shorten...
