I know it is commonly said that Blue Dot can be a problem to ignite in sub freezing weather but I've shot slugs over Blue Dot at down to -15 C (5 F) with no issues at all. Not saying it can't happen or that there aren't better cold weather powders...

Tom, By any chance, do you have a set of 300 Blackout dies to do a comparison? Would be quite interested to see the dimensional differences between a .30 Bobcat and a .300 BLK rimmed.

I like them both and I own a 460. I have spent time in remote Alaska but I don't consider myself anywhere close to be an expert on brown bear defense. To me the X-frames are just too big and heavy for every day carry for what I am doing. I have...

I have three Remington XP 100R's (.223, 260 Rem. and 35 Rem.). I would trade them for these in a heart beat. The M-lock hand guard makes a lot of sense not only for bipods but the various types of tripods. My .223 has killed thousands of prairie...

You will want a .454 projectile if you can get it as they run large in the bore compared to US guns. I use T/B and a 250 .454 Lyman mould that I got many years ago. I beagled it to drop at 456 and that is perfect for my Webley WG.

If you made it you should know what material it is made of? If it is medium or high carbon case hardening is not the appropriate hardening method.
