Good morning Sounds like the inside of the neck had "oxidated" sufficiently that your neck expander (maybe not the smoothest finish) placed enough resistance on the case to overcome the tinsel strength of that particular case. 38 WCF cases are...

One of my instructors, ex-marine, ex-leo, ex-gunsite Raven(IIRC) said he always carries with a loaded chamber (striker fired) or if he has a DA/SA semi will have one in the chamber, hammer down, safety on. However, that said, he didn't recommend a...

For timed and rapid-fire Camp Perry style bullseye competition 4.5 grains of 452AA or WST with H&G68 is the Go-To Load. For 50-yards slow fire to better buck the wind adjust charge to 830 +/-30 fps. about 4.8 grains of WST or 5.2 of W231 To...

Rechamber barrel to NATO chamber in accordance with STANAG 4090 and it will accept .358" cast bullets. FNGPs and Berettas sold to the Euro market already have this chamber. The SAAMI-dimensioned chamber is too tight!

When I worked at Ruger in the 1980s the Clymer de-leading reamer was used with Brownell's Do-Drill and was the Go-To method. When ultrasonic cleaners became available, that was the final step before returning to the customer.

Doesn't need to be quick release, but easily changible, S&W or Bowen type with set screw would be fine, or you may have another idea. A 16" twist in the rifle would have interesting possibilities with a heavy bullet subsonic. Something around 250...

NEI #82 mold I used to use was shortened to 88 grains. I have since replaced that mold with Accurate 31-087B and 31-087T which do better.

I have used the Lee 310 in my marlin 1894p which has 1:38 twist with complete satisfaction to 100 yds. Now I use the NOE version of the ranch dog 265. I wouldn't worry about the twist a bit

Suggest you start at 25 gr 3031 and use a 3/4 - 1 gr Dacron filler under that bullet in your 7.62x54R. Work up to 30 gr. If it's going to shoot with any accuracy it will be in that range. Larry Gibson
