That could certainly be done. The double-end, bevel base was intended to facilitate reloading with speed liaders in PPC matches.

No. Placing any defect forward does the least harm. Placing the sprue cut forward provides a more uniform base. Sometimes a sprue cut will hide a small shrinkage cavity which deforms nonuniformly when the base upsets upon discharge. ...

For precision shooting in custom PPC guns, orienting the sprue cut forward reduces 50-yard group size by about an inch. For close range DA random seating doesn't matter.

I just find 32s exceptionally difficult to shoot at much distance. I have a Dixie 32 Cal flintlock, and at 25 yards you can cover the groups with a dime. At 50 yds it's more like a baseball. It seems like it shouldn't open up that fast but it always...

They don't belong on a 1911, give it a little time, get use to it. Oh, and that little screw going through the trigger, it should have lock-tite on it so don't mess with it. If it goes in to far the pistol will not go bang.

A close look at the price tag on top of the can and you'll see "sealed". The LGS owner let met "whip out my pocket knife" and open it because if it was good I was buying it. If it was bad he was throwing it away. Believe it or not but I shoot a...

Good morning At the price it is a good deal. The retailers make no bones about adding 30-50% on products. As long as buyers will pay them they will continue to sell them. The dropping loading lever is an easy fix. Tie it up with a piece of...

Good morning Basically did this about 6 years ago with my desire to have a 414 Supermag lever rifle to go along with our Dan Wesson 414 SM. If you do a search here for "Marlin 336 414 Supermag" the details will pop up. The shorter 41 mag case...

If you have the K1, ATF and acetone, just mix them and leave out the mineral spirits. I routinely mix the stuff without the acetone, because I use it indoors and don't want the fumes. Works fine but not as quickly. The ATF and K1 mix is a...

As long as it light petroleum distillate it is OK. It will just smell. But in Calif. they may be substituting a water-based product of milky color, which will not mix with the other materials, which will separate. Ok to use, but you must shake...

I'm not familiar with the chemical differences between these new Federal primers and the Winchester or government mix, but the Winchester mix dates to the 1930s and I am still using .38 Special and .45 ACP WRA ammunition which is pre-WW2 and .30...

You are going to LOVE that rifle. In the .32 S&W Long you only need one mold, I recommend Accurate 31-105T If your rifle is chambered for the .32 S&W (the short case) good bullet choices are 31-087B or 31-087T If you have a measure...

Nice! Yep, you must still be able to get the good old type caps. The ones I have found in the US have been dumbed down and are nothing like what was around when I was a kid.
