You made them slippery. More than PC bullets normally are. That was why the ES was all over the place. Don't do that anymore.

Good evening When we bought our's years back I looked all over for load info... nothing. So did some searching on webs and found what the old Winchester ammo loads were in BP. I tried to get enough Goex 2F in a case to come close to the...

In grade school, some of us would have a rubber band or two in our pockets. Would put it over our thumb and index finger and at school there was a vine that we would cut off a piece and fold over and shoot with the single rubber band. Those little...

I feel your pain . I have a nearly 839 ........ It plunks a fired case with a .323 sized 325-175 Lee seated . The throat will actually shoot that one so sized but not well , the throat is actually .320 but the leade is long and accommodates the fat...

I size my minie bullets .001" under bore diameter, dip lube in gatofeo #1, and shoot over 60 gr. FFg. No wads, they kill accuracy when they jam into the base. Remember these bullets only work right when cast from pure lead. Just a little too hard...

R King sorry I'm not getting reply notices . I'm using a 75/25 of WW and tamper seals that are believed to be 1-20 w/about 4.5% copper in solution . It is odd but I can get an alloy that does the same with range cores over 40% plated bullets . I...

I'm with Larry on using the softer alloy for hunting. In most guns you can get away with 1 to 20 tin-lead with a plainbased bullet, or 1 to 30 in a GC design for much better expansion.

Okay, that makes sense but... more questions... Are you sizing the lead for each different bore diameter or using same diameter smooth boolit and changing paper wraps and/or thickness for each bore diameter? Have you got a lathe or access to a...

I've shot lots of Speer plastic bullets of 38, 44 and 45 calibers. They will woke as you've made them. A wet patch (bore solvent) run through the bore to swab the primer residue every cylinder full will help accuracy. I used a box with a dowel...

Back in the day I made quite a bit if 6.5x55 cases out of US milsurp cases. Easy enough to do if you use a form/trim die first. I've found the RCBS 8x57 form/trim die works very well. Initially form/trim the '06 cases in the form die then FL size...

This is how I hold it for the other side. Not rocket science, but it works. Masking tape and a pvc joint. It works. I clamp the drill in a vice, lock it on at a slow speed and de-burr away. BNE

If the rifles are the same and the load is the same the difference is the cases. Each time the cartridge is fired the case expands and seals the chamber then contracts a bit. If his Nosler cases are softer than your Lapua cases they do not...

10-12gr should be fine with that lead bullet. Just make sure you have a gas check installed. That powder is a little slower than unique and 10-12gr of unique is fine in all the large military cases. If you are using ALOX for lube, swab a lite...

All the American made brass has the 0.470" standard head. When you were using any of the Lee dies you have to take out the expander rod and nut. Let the brass flow up into the die. You should not have any problems then. At least I never did....

If they are standard cci sr then you should be gtg. I have used them in a bunch of 9mm semi pistols. The cci sr are the same thickness as their sp primers. I also did not have to change my load either. I run a mid range load and do not load any 9mm...

Small rifle primers similar to the Federal 200 and Remington 6-1/2 have a base metal thickness of 0.018 + 0.0015/-0.000 and closely resemble the primers used in military cal. .30 M1 Carbine and 9mm M882 ammunition. If your pistol or revolver has...

If you are going to load for .32 ACP in quantity for several pistols, I highly recommend standardizing on Starline brass unless you can hoard a suitable quantity of RWS, or Fiocchi, which weigh the same and are similarly constructed.
