    Hello SPJ, I'm not sure about the .38 Special, I load .44 Colt Original with heeled bullet. I can easily fit 1.9cc (approx. 27.9gr) of 2F in that one, could even squeeze a little more. My favorite is Black MZ, to bad it's been discontinued....

    Hello Danth, The best way to crimp a heeled bullet is the LEE Factory Crimp Die. All you need for the .32 Colt is a .30 caliber or a .303 caliber crimp die. The cartridge can be set on a riser, a 1/4-20 bolt & nut set in a large shell holder....

    Hello seetrout, Have you tried shooting a jacketed bullet? I have a 1893 Marlin in 32-40, it would keyhole cast but shot jacketed good. I simply made my bullets harder, and it shoots pretty good now. AntiqueSledMan.

    Hello T-bird, Alliant didn't produce it, they just sold it. I believe it was produced in Colorado by American Pioneer Powder, but the plant had an explosion which stopped all production....
