    I think you are correct....however, I have opened up the die and cleaned out what I think could have been the original grease when the die was manufactured. This made a big difference since the seating stem was quite jammed in the body of the die....

    Bought a used Redding 45ACP Competition Seating Die some time ago to use on my Dillon 550. The die works great, but on some of my round nose boolits like my H&G #34, when seating them the plug of the die leaves a "ring" on the nose of the boolit...
