Have had issues with ball powders and standard primers giving delayed ignition, but have never heard of the problem with stick powders. In my case a change to a magnum primer cured it. Only noticed it after I used electronic muffs, could hear the...

Have a small percussion lock with fly in the tumbler, about 4 1/2 inches long, tapped for 8-32 screws. Not sure who made it but think it might have been for a Navy Arms 45 PA style rifle. Can't post pics but can send on my phone. No idea as to...

Rich/WIS replied to a thread Cast 9MM keyholing in Cast Boolits
I used that bullet unsized and tumble lubed in my CZ 75 and had keyholing issues. Switched to their TC shape with normal lube groove and sized and lubed at .358 in a Lyman 450 and problem went away. Have read that Glock rifling and cast are not a...

Believe the issue of oil on the cases with full power loads is the case will not seize to the chamber walls and increase thrust on the bolt face. When forming cases with light loads oil will let the base of the case move into full contact with the...

On two tours in Germany I stored mine in the Brownells bags using their VCI paper. Well greased inside and out with RIG they survived three years of storage with no problems, stored in my parents attic.

Try Moe's Hardware Hank in Black River Falls, don't know if they ship so you may need a road trip. You can call first and ask and if they have it they will put it aside for you to pick up.

Try it on one and see how it fits, if the fit looks good test fire it. Unless you find a reference in the SIG web site that says its SIG 1911 specific most 1911 conversion kits will work on any standard 1911 frame. Conversion kits can be fussy as...

About 12-15 years ago K31's were at gun shows in my part of Wisconsin for about $200 with beech stocks. Rifles looked all but new and the big negative then was the lack of a reliable source of ammo for non-reloaders.

Been years since I competed but IIRC the few 32 pistols I saw were European brands and shot 32 S&W wadcutter ammo. The design of the guns was limited to WC length ammo. In Europe 32 WC was/is common, not sure if it loaded here or not. Only data I...

Got one with a Lee Challenger press, liked it so much better than the primer arm system on my Lyman Spartan and T-mag that I bought the Lee Auto-prime II with the tray. Later got the small Lee C press at a bargain price and set it up as a dedicated...
