I have a C-Sharps 75 in 38-55. When I called the factory and asked about the brass they said that they chambered for the short brass. As Chill said check it out. Either a chamber cast or call someone in the know. Bob

I ordered a #1 in 40-50SS for a fun gun to hunt and shoot mid-range with. And of course silly-wets. Since I'm a pretty old guy I went through Bill Goodman. My best friend ordered a Ferris rifle from Lee Shaver and died before he ever saw it. My...

Mike, Dick Hoff and Kenn Heismann did a lot of experimenting with nipple size and they came up with .025 to .028 as being optimum. You can get a set of welders torch tip cleaners for checking hole sizes. Kenn had a nipple burn out during his 1000yrd...

Yeh, the first few shots are free, then you're hooked and the real expense begins. A rifle , brass, boolit molds, wad cutters, dies, and powder by the case. Bob

My Godson paid $1000 for his high end Pedersoli and it listed for $1800+. When I looked at the breach block I couldn't see any indication that it had ever rubbed up the back of a cartridge case. I think a lot of people buy them for the neat factor...

A lot depends on how serious a competitor you are. Personally I shoot for fun and the only guy I have to beat is me. If I am improving I'm a happy camper. Every once in a while I get lucky and pick up some hardware, but there is no money in most of...

Fit and finish and wood have a lot to do with the price. I have a hunter model and it is straight grained Walnut dull finish on the metal and wood and I got it on sale at Cabela's for $1099 they took another 15% off because I was a veteran and I had...

I have a Pedersoli hunter model that I picked up on sale at Cabela's. Mat finish and straight walnut stock but it shoots very well. I have used it locally in BPCRT matches out to 1200yds. I have also picked up a few wins here and there with it. I...

Holy Moly, I'm not sure what the conversion rate to US dollars would be but that is some serious money to shoot BP. The long range muzzle loading match is coming up down there in September and the teams have to get there powder in the country since...

Have it relined, John Taylor can do that. There are tricks to getting a good trigger, you might check out the British militaria board, lots of good info on Martinis there. Bob

I had a 4 digit SN Renegade that I paid $175 for in the mid 70s. I forget what I sold it for but it was more than I paid. I kind of wish I hadn't sold it though, it was a good rifle but I had a 58cal Sharon barreled Hawken to replace it. Bob

I have run across several shooters that have tried OE and gone back to Swiss, not because it is better but because they had a load that shot well and their time is limited for testing. Also when they go overseas Swiss is what is available. I have...

Might be leaded up severely from it's days as a 22LR. Muzzle crown or cleaning rod wear at muzzle also might be a problem. Bob

Anybody know what happened to cause this mishap? Normally power lines crossing rivers have marker balls to prevent this sort of thing and the Super Cub is a powerful airplane designed for bush flying. Bob
