Boz330 replied to a thread Pedersoli question in Single Shot Guns
Dixie Gun Works has Pedersoli parts as well. I broke a firing pin on mine last year and I got the pins from Dixie, everyone else was out at the time. BTW not a bad idea to have an extra firing pin for the 74. Mine broke in the middle of a match,...

You can do this with boiling water as well. Clean the gun till you get clean patches. Dump a couple cups of boiling water down the barrel and then clean again. They will come out black as coal. That is how I clean all my ML since someone told me...

Boz330 replied to a thread Pedersoli question in Single Shot Guns
If it is made by Pedersoli I wouldn't worry about it. The big difference is the finish and wood. Mat finish and straight grained wood shoots as good as fancy wood and high polish at a much higher price. I bought a Hunter special from Cabela's on...

I think you mean 4759. IMR4895 shoots 120 J-words very nicely from mine. Bob

The K-31 is a fine rifle and the cost to make that today, especially as accurate as they are would be astronomical. I paid $159 for a Walnut stock example and the first handload I tried shot a 3/8" group at 100yd. You might find a new rifle that...

The weekend before I came home from SA a friend threw a going away party with grilled Gemsbok loin which was excellent. He informed me that he needed 6 guys to fill out a cull hunt for Buffalo and it was shame I was leaving. A Buff hunt even back...

Dave is the token liberal in our group, don't tell him I said, other than that he is a good guy. Kenn is shooting the Ingram and quite well. He took 9 medals and 3 aggregate plates in the World Shoot at Camp Butner in 15. Did you know Dick Hoff?...

The Lyman Postel is hard to beat for an off the shelf mold. If you don't have any casting experience you can find almost anything on youtube or here for that matter. 20-1 pure lead to tin as a starter. Get a Lee pot to start and after that you can...

I was always pretty lucky never had to pack too far to a truck or 4 wheeler. Those evening kills made for a supper at midnight or 1 in the morning though and it wasn't hot. Bob

Mike, I'm 3rd from left kneeling. Kenn and I both shoot with a bunch from OH but we both live in KY although originally fro OH. Not sure why Rick has it listed that way unless it is because I usually ask to be on a squad with Kenn or some of the...

I just got back from the Mid and Long Range match at Oak Ridge. If you shoot a Gibbs rifle or LR ML you should give this match a shot. The distances are 200, 300, 600, and 1000yd. The match is geared toward the beginning LR shooter with generous...
